Nazareth Illit-Yezreel Technological College is a leading technological college in the north of Israel that was founded in 1987, for the purpose of training highly skilled workers for the Israeli high-tech industries.
The students receive the education and skills needed in order to meet the needs of high-tech companies, service industries and tourism firms that are expanding rapidly in the region. The College is located in a modern building in the center of Nazareth Illit. The College offers complete technological training, including pre-Practical Engineer courses for those who require it.

The College has two-year programs that lead to a Practical Engineer ("handasai" in Hebrew) degree in several areas of specialization.
In addition, the College has courses for professional training and enrichment in topics such as Computer Applications, Management, Secretarial, Accounting and several specific technology-based skills.
Programs of Study For Practical Engineers In Nazareth Illit Technological College The Practical Engineer ("handasai" in Hebrew) program is a two-year program. Students choose one of the following tracks:

Students who don't have the pre-requisites for the Practical Engineer track may be required to take the Pre-Practical Engineer course.
Preparatory Course For New Immigrants
The College encourages new immigrants to study in its Practical Engineer programs. The College runs a one-year Preparatory Course ("mechina" in Hebrew) for new immigrants, the purpose of which is to improve the immigrants' knowledge of Hebrew and to prepare them for the Practical Engineer programs.
The course prepares the students for studying technology-based topics in Hebrew by reviewing certain subjects (mathematics, physics, computers) in Hebrew.
The admission requirements for the Preparatory Course are the same as for the Practical Engineer programs. After successfully completing the Preparatory Course, the new immigrants can enroll in the Practical Engineer track of their choice.
